Greater Vancouver Food Bank School Bus Food Drive

The Vancouver School Bus Food Drive

Jeff Leung and Santa in front of a Vancouver Christmas BusWhat a great day! During the days leading up to Christmas 2012, we worked with four schools in the Lower Mainland to fill our buses with food and donate it all to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

The results:

  • We braved snow, rain and ice to get the food!
  • Santa visited every class and handed out candy canes!
  • Over 160 boxes donated!

We'd like to emphasize how great it is to see schools teaching their students the importance of giving and helping others. We're happy to contribute, helping families that have temporarily fallen under hard times and need just a bit of help to get back on their feet. The four schools deserve a mention for their display of generosity and community spirit:

Ridgeview Elementary in West Vancouver, Rockridge Secondary in West Vancouver, St. John's School in Vancouver and Tyee Elementary in Vancouver

Remember, the Holidays are about giving back. If you'd like to help out, consider making a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
